About The Founders              Bill Schrader and Fred Pettersen

Recovery Resources, Inc., was founded in 1995 as a small outpatient clinic by co-founders Bill Schrader and Fred Pettersen who met in 1983 at a community treatment center while on their own road to recovery from drugs and alcohol. With the support of a 12-Step Program and the dedicated professionals who served them, both men not only maintained their sobriety but they created Recovery Resources, Inc. as a way of giving back what was freely given to them.

Bill Schrader, C.A.P., President

Schrader brings a wealth of personal and clinical knowledge to the treatment arena, with a specific focus on what is most effective for each individual client. That focus and dedication to serving others has earned him recognition from throughout the treatment community, including receiving the prestigious Peter Faircloth Memorial Recognition Award given annually by the Comprehensive Alcoholism Rehabilitation Programs. Among his most recent contributions to the organization is the creation of two new centers: The coed Oceanside Treatment Center, which encompasses a strong
12-Step concept along with a compliment of holistic amenities; and the North Palm Men's Extended Care residential program, one of the country's only programs devoted exclusively to men who receive intensive, gender-specific treatment in a highly structured, supportive environment.
