Dual Diagnosis

Multiple diseases often co-exist in a single client. Co-existing disorders, commonly termed Dual Diagnosis, can be identified during the evaluation process. It is important to address any and all ailments that can cause difficulty for clients in treatment so that strong and permanent sobriety can be achieved and maintained.

Professional clinicians with experience in Dual Diagnosis at Recovery Resources will design treatment programs to address these conditions. For example, many clients present with both an alcohol and drug abuse problem; some clients may well have mental health issues that have been unaddressed and overshadowed by addiction. Specialized and personalized treatment modalities will be designed by experienced clinicians to identify and manage these issues during the clients' Alcohol and Drug Treatment program.

Recovery Resources' Medical Director is a Licensed and Board Certified psychiatrist who will evaluate and assess every client who enters treatment. His comprehensive Dual Diagnosis program will help clients recover from these underlying issues which have caused continuous relapse and frustration.
